About Breakwater
Breakwater is building a portfolio of evidence-led security products for software, connected infrastructure, and the post-quantum transition.
We believe a security conclusion should never travel without its source, scope, confidence, limits, and authority.
Security teams have more findings than they can defend, more tools than they can connect, and more pressure to automate. Breakwater focuses on the layer between observation and action: the evidence system that helps people understand what is known, what is inferred, and what they are authorized to do next.
That discipline applies whether the subject is application code, an operational network, a cryptographic migration, or a remediation plan.
How we build
Our product principles are designed to survive contact with incomplete data, uncertain environments, and accountable operators.
Important claims stay connected to their source, time, scope, and transformation.
Measured, inferred, simulated, and formally established results are not interchangeable.
Unavailable evidence is not translated into an empty inventory, zero exposure, or a clean result.
Automation may prepare and verify; consequential action remains governed and attributable.
Founding team
Breakwater is led by co-founders responsible for the company’s technology, direction, operations, and execution.

CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Nagu is a security researcher, computer scientist, and technology leader with more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, distributed systems, cryptography, and protocol engineering.
Before Breakwater, he worked on protocol security and engineering at the Ethereum Foundation, including zero-knowledge and decentralized systems. Earlier, at National Taiwan University Hospitals, he led engineers and physicians developing and deploying AI healthcare systems for Taiwan’s national healthcare system.
At Breakwater, Nagu leads company and product strategy, turning fragmented security evidence into reliable models of assets, connectivity, attack paths, and operational risk.
CO-FOUNDER & COO
Chetna oversees Breakwater’s company operations, strategic relationships, customer engagement, and execution of the company’s commercial plans.
She works across product, customers, and partners to keep Breakwater focused on problems that matter in real operating environments and to support customers as deployments grow.
At Breakwater, Chetna leads the organizational work behind the product: building partnerships, developing customer relationships, and coordinating the people and resources required to move from technical capability to production use.
Product and research
Breakwater’s product work and Cyber Analytics learning environment reinforce the same discipline: measure carefully, expose assumptions, and test the claim before acting on it.

We are connecting application, infrastructure, cryptographic, and operational evidence into a shared decision layer. The long-term direction is governed security response: policy-bounded agents, human approval thresholds, observable execution, and verification after change.
